The Hottest Trend in Giving Back at the NYC International Bridal Week

The New York International Bridal Week Show was held October 12-14, 3013 at Pier 94 and as usual, offered a link between brides-to-be and retailers/service providers allowing convenience and ease of shopping in a cohesive marketplace of high-end and upscale products. With over 300 exhibitors brides-to-be had a vast selection of ideas, products, and services to help with the planning of their dream wedding.

This year's event highlighted Les Cinq Amandes (The5Almonds.com) not only for their dazzling confections but for their true gift-giving at the New York International Bridal Week Show. Les Cinq Amandes was joined by Miss America 2008 and Newlywed Kirsten Haglund to announce a meaningful industry wide “Inner Beauty” Wedding Initiative through the creation and presentation of beautiful wedding themes that also raise funds for girls and women in need.

 

The Les Cinq Amandes booth brought to life the theme “Let the Delicious Journey Begin...” with a new initiative developed in collaboration by Les Cinq Amandes and Kirsten’s lifelong work, making it a perfect match centered on women and girls’ “self-care, inner beauty and balance”. Kirsten Haglund created a Foundation in February 2009, in an effort to raise money for treatment scholarships to help individuals and their families to fight eating disorders. To date, more than 25 scholarships have been awarded. Les Cinq Amandes was proud to partner with Kirsten Haglund and her important work supporting women and girls.
