DIY Overload with Stylish Board

When it comes to planning your DIY wedding you need a vision, a budget, and resources. No matter how crafty you are there is something out there for you to put your personalized touch on one of the most important days of your life. Some brides-to-be have had their wedding day planned since their first crush in grade school while others are months away and haven't got a clue as to where to start. Regardless of what stage of planning you are in you can always use a little inspiration and DIY know how to help you along your way.

I have come across another DIY resource for brides-to-be to help give your wedding that little extra special touch that sets yours apart from the rest. Sylish Board is a photo based inspiration board full of new ideas and links to tutorials to make your own magic happen. My favourite section of course is the DIY section. To give you an idea of what Stylish Board has to offer I have selected some of my favourite ideas and tutorials :)

Look"Blog": Intimate Tea Party Wedding

So this is a first of it's kind on Everything Wedding DIY... a "LookBlog" post, a blogger's version of a Lookbook! I will be creating LookBlogs of a variety of wedding themes that you can easily infuse DIY projects into as well as handmade and personal touches. This Spring and Summer 2013 tea parties are all the rave (never thought you would see "tea party" and "rave" in the same sentence eh!). Tea party weddings can be traditional, whimsical, intimate, fancy, and fun; they are so versatile and become infused with your own personal style. Below is a compilation of fabulous images to get your ideas flowing for your own DIY Intimate Tea Party Wedding! If you absolutely LOVE some of the tea party details click the image to find out where you can purchase the handmade items or a step by step tutorial. Enjoy!

Happy Planning!

Sneak Peak!

Well it has been some time since the last post with all the hustle and bustle of getting ready for my 10.10.10 wedding. Our wedding day was amazing from beginning to end, my husband Greg thanked me for making our wedding day so perfect with all the personal details and DIY projects and told me it was the "best day of his life so far". I have to agree with him on that one, the whole thing was pretty surreal.

Well, we are now back to reality and I am back to school work and will be taking a week long trip to Newfoundland for school so when I get back, there will definitely be more to come including DIY How-To's specifically from the ideas in our wedding, featured Etsy sellers that I bought some of my handmade wedding items from, and lots of photos. So keep checking back...

Here's a little sneak peak of our DIY Handmade Wedding Day, all within a budget of $5,000 (well actually $8,000 when all was said and done and the bill was paid but I can say we came out of it with no debt)!!
